A collaborative project with a partner and the queer youth of Metro Welcome Center (MWC) of St. Petersburg, FL. The imagery was crowdsourced from participants of MWC’s Queer Youth Nights and was based on the youth’s hobbies, interests, and appearance. They also contributed the suite designs. Then the imagery was combined with hand done numbering to be transformed into a deck of cards that MWC has shown interest in selling. It was a rewarding project to work on a queer youth, to interact and design for my fellow queer youths. The watercolor imagery was chosen to reflect the playful spirit the group showed us, and the back of the card is a drawing of the meeting space where they come weekly.
